What software and hardware do I need to use Folderscape?

You need a filer which:

• Has a CIFS license, an NFS license, or both.
• Is running version 7.0.4 or later of ONTAP.

You can run Folderscape from any of the following versions of Windows:

• Windows 2000 (all versions)
• Windows XP
• Windows 2003
• Windows Vista

Your Windows computer will need to have one of the following versions of Microsoft's ".Net Framework" installed on it:

• Version 2.0
• Version 3.0
• Version 3.5

To install Folderscape, you will need to know the "root" userid of the filer, and if the filer is a member of a domain you will have to log on to your Windows workstation with a userid that is a member of the administrators group on the filer.
